Seaside day

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside... 

Unfortunately we were not able to go on our visit to the seaside this term, instead, the seaside came to visit us! In true English summer fashion, it rained during our seaside day but we still had lots of fun!

We had a box full of different things you might see at the seaside like shells, stones with barnacles attached, feathers, limpets and even real, live crabs!  The infant class had a great morning exploring the sea side box and even held the crabs!  After a busy day, the crabs were returned to the beach at Sunderland Point.
